Zephyr Cove, Nev., November 30, 2015 — VirnetX Holding Corporation (NYSE MKT: VHC), an Internet security software and technology company, announced today that its Gabriel Collaboration Suite, an integrated suite of secure communication applications featuring: Secure Mail, Secure Messaging, Secure Voice Call, Secure Video Call and Secure Share & Sync, is now available on all major operating systems: iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

The Gabriel app allows registered users fully encrypted messaging, mail, voice and video calls and file sharing. The Gabriel app is available for download at no charge for a limited promotional special and will offer in-app purchase options. See website www.gabrielsecure.com for more information.

“We are very excited to be able to offer Gabriel on all the major operating systems,” said Dr. Robert Short, VirnetX Chief Technical Officer and Chief Scientist. “Now just about anyone can use Gabriel to protect their privacy by communicating securely. The Gabriel app is available to download from our Gabriel website, the App Store or Google Play™.”

The Gabriel Collaboration Suite employs VirnetX’s patented Gabriel Secure Communications Platform technology to create automatic secure and encrypted end-to-end communication links between two devices to circumvent the threats of hacking and data mining, and minimize the threats of man-in-the-middle attacks while blocking out undesired peers from listening in. Gabriel Collaboration Suite does not store any user emails, chat messages or user data in a server farm, and any email or chat message sent using Gabriel are encrypted from viewing by any third party or government agency. Gabriel Collaboration Suite provides users with a single, easy to use interface that remains consistent across all users’ devices.

About Gabriel

The Gabriel Collaboration Suite™ is built on top of the Gabriel Secure Communication Platform™. This platform implements VirnetX’s patented Gabriel Connection Technology™ to allow Internet devices to instantly and securely connect and communicate with each other.

The underlying technology is a virtual encrypted secure communications infrastructure that overlays the physical infrastructure of the Internet. It consists of software and network services that enable automatic initiation of peer-to-peer (P2P), peer-to-server, and server-to-server encrypted communication links between computers.

These encrypted links or channels can support multiple sessions, protocols and services. The core of the service is a mechanism that intercepts DNS traffic and determines whether the domain being accessed is a secure domain protected by Gabriel.

The Gabriel software automatically performs cryptographic peer authentication and security policy enforcement. Private keys never leave the peer platforms, and public keys are certified by VirnetX signed digital certificates.

Online presence of users and devices are discovered through domain name lookups and automatic registering and querying of our connection servers.

Network address translation (NAT) and firewall device traversal are achieved by automatic discovery and negotiation of relay services when required on a peer-to-peer connection basis. When relay services are mandatory, peer-to-peer encryption is maintained and the relay server receives and forwards encrypted data packets to maintain end-to-end data encryption.

Current applications easily available through the Gabriel interface are Secure Mail, Secure Messaging, Secure Voice Call, Secure Video Call, Secure Share & Sync as well as Secure Gateway Services to special private network services configured by the user (e.g. web cameras, home security monitoring, etc.).
