Security Testing Confirms VirnetX’ Claims Regarding Gabriel Security…
“You Can’t Hack What You Can’t See.”

ZEPHYR COVE, Nevada.,– November 13, 2018 – VirnetX™ Holding Corporation (NYSE AMERICAN: VHC), an Internet security software and technology company, announced today that on October 26, 2018, it received a Gabriel Platform Testing Report from J3 Digital Forensics LLP, a New York based professional services team with technical expertise and diverse resources in digital forensics. The report, which focused on validation testing of five of Gabriel’s Secure Collaboration Suite technical claims, concluded that J3 Digital Forensics was unable to compromise Gabriel’s encrypted communications environment, within a single secure enclave or between multiple secure enclaves.

During testing the security testing team did not gain unauthorized access to secure communications content, Gabriel user accounts, or secure servers. The results showed that the testing team was unable to compromise Gabriel’s encrypted communication tunnel. The five technical claims that were tested are:

  1. An attacker cannot attack a user’s device and/or data, when it cannot be found on the Internet.
  2. Gabriel Domain Services are secure and fully authenticated.
  3. Gabriel provides end-to-end privacy.
  4. Gabriel allows access only to trusted services on its VPNs.
  5. Gabriel security policy controls peer access and is determined by the user and/or domain administrator.

“You can’t hack what you can’t see has been a guiding principle in Gabriel’s design and implementation,” said Dr. Robert Dunham Short III, VirnetX Chief Technical Officer. “The comprehensive testing done by J3 Digital Forensics confirms Gabriel’s stealth feature as well as other key claims that we believe make Gabriel a superior secure communications platform.”
